iPad vs Motorola Xoom; The Fair Comparison

iPad vs Motorola Xoom; The Fair Comparison. In this modern and high tech era, it is not a new issue for us that technology is leading the world. Almost every company looking for the best technology they can get in order to increase the productivity of their workers and the company itself. Not only companies, individual users are also looking for the high tech product. Especially people who often need to get out of office and still must be available to contact with. Then, a high tech wireless product will provide a great deal of help. Those wireless products that are similar in quality are iPad and Motorola xoom. Those high tech products share differences in their performance.

If we see iPad and Motorola xoom from the screen quality, then Motorola has higher resolution and weight while iPad has a little bit lower screen resolution but it’s far lighter than Motorola. In the operating system, Motorola beats iPad. iPad runs on apple IOS 4.2 while Motorola runs in Android honeycomb OS, which apparently a special software designed for tablets. If we see it from processor and RAM of those two products, then Motorola is absolutely better than iPad. Motorola runs in two cores using Nvidia Tegra 2   with a massive memory of 1 GB while iPad only runs in one core and only has 256 Mb of RAM.

As for camera, it is indeed very disappointing that iPad does not have camera. However in the other hand, xoom has a camera that supports both five and two megapixels. As for SD cards and memory, Motorola xoom is still leading. Although iPad offers a 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB of memory it still can’t beat xoom which offers a total of 64 GB memory in build. As for application, xoom is leading, and for flash support, since iPad doesn’t support, so xoom is leading again. As for the battery they both have the same quality.
